Established in 2013 by Billy & Amber Dash, Piermill Bloodstock Ltd is based at Mill Farm in Cambridge, just 20 minutes from Newmarket. 

The family home since 1992, Mill Farm has undergone considerable facility upgrades over the last few years to cater to our growing client base, with further stabling and amenities in the pipeline

AMBER DASH  (formerly Amber Mortlock)

 

Amber has been around, ridden, trained or owned horses for as long as she can remember, sitting atop a horse before she could even walk. Originally trained in Classical Dressage from a very young age before moving on to compete in Showjumping, Amber brings the knowledge and skills garnered with much blood, sweat and tears over the years into Piermill's bloodstock operation. Combining old fashioned horsemanship with modern training techniques and nutrition, Amber's mission is to produce happy, healthy and hard working horses for every client.

BILLY DASH

Billy moved to Mill Farm in 2011, bringing with him extensive knowledge from a background in Private Estate/Farm Management and Mechanical Engineering.

Billy has always loved horses and enjoyed riding and hacking out before a serious motorbike accident kept him out of the saddle. During the winter Billy spends his time on the tractors, maintaining the grounds, paddocks and machinery as well as overseeing new building works at Mill Farm. However, over the years Billy has has become an exceedingly good horseman and in particular, yearling handler. With a sharp eye for conformation and movement along with his quiet confidence and boundless patience with the horses, he has proved invaluable to Piermill Bloodstock's Sales Preparation process.
